EXPERIMENTAL LOUNGE
In 2016, Szabina lent her voice to ‘Night Escape’, a composition by Erlenbacher Mats Pehrsson, which was intended for the Eurovision Song Contest. Through this project, Szabina met and teamed up with his son, Mike Pehrsson, a grungy Punkrocker from Brighton, UK and producer for the DIY-label StandYourSound.
The pair quickly began writing and recording strange, experimental songs, along with a ’Covid Christmas Medley’ which went locally viral… They are currently completing their debut EP, Eine Kleine Avant-Garde Hardcore Operette: a sonic, spiritual assault on all senses, with battalions of operatic Metal, heavy doses of Grunge – Chanson, explosions of Hardcore, Meditations on post-romantic beauty and pop as hooky as a speargun.
